When I think back to where Chapi Tours began, I can still picture the tiny room above a bakery in Hanoi in 2012—the warm smell of fresh bread, the sound of scooters outside, and a small desk where a big dream was born. We didn’t start with funding, influence, or scale. We started with heart—a passion to connect travelers with the real Vietnam, and to ensure that tourism benefits the people who call this country home.
With your trust and encouragement, we grew. We moved into a lively office on Nghi Tam Road. We welcomed travelers from all corners of the world. Local guides found steady work. Families in villages earned meaningful income. Traditions were shared, and stories were lived.
Then the world changed.
Like many small travel companies, we faced the hardest chapter in our history. For nearly two years, our office lights went dark, our tours paused, and our community partners struggled. But today—because of resilience, hope, and the belief that meaningful travel matters—Chapi Tours is reborn.
